In 1941 from an intuition of Giuseppe Ponzio was born a company specialized in the surface treatment of aluminum: Ponzio. In these 80 years of activity four generations have followed one another and the company’s business has grown up to the design and production of systems for casement and sliding windows, curtain walls, accessories for windows and doors in aluminum.
Constantly implementing the most innovative technologies and diversifying the range of surface finishes, which have always been the company’s flagship, has allowed the company to become what it is today: an absolute reality in the world of aluminum.

Locations in Italy and in the Worl
Developed on more than 60,000 square meters in the historic plant of Pineto, Ponzio can also count on the warehouse in Rome and the flagship store in Milan. A reality that grows with constancy and commitment managing to reach all over the world through the Italian offices as well as those abroad.
Romana Ponzio was founded in 1982 as Romana Accessori and in 2008 became the exclusive distributor of Ponzio systems in Lazio. Then, as now, the goal is to create a specialized distribution point for Lazio in the marketing of accessories for the window and door industry. Romana Ponzio today has a large warehouse of about 4000 square meters of floor space that allows to better serve the window and door manufacturers throughout the region of Lazio.
The flagship store in Milan was opened in 2010 in Via Santa Sofia 27 in Milan. It is the point of reference for all designers and window and door manufacturers in the city and northern Italy. Thanks to the large exhibition area that houses all Ponzio systems with the latest technologies and the most advanced finishes and the highly specialized staff, the store is able to meet all different design requests.
Ponzio has been implementing for years its foreign activity. The offices around the world: the one in Poland (Ponzio Polska), in Ukraine (Ponzio Ukraine) and the logistics hub in India, in New Dehli allow to reach many countries; an activity that currently provides employment to more than 400 employees and that in 2013 generated a total turnover of over 80 million euros.

70 Years of history, of a brand, of a factory
The growth of Ponzio is well told by the evolution of its brand: an important symbol, which has been renewed over the years while remaining faithful to the core values of the company. The Ponzio brand is therefore a distinctive and unmistakable feature of the work that the company has been doing with passion for 80 years.
Growing generation after generation
Ponzio, then located in Via Lagrange 8 in Milan, is the first in Italy to equip itself with an anodizing plant.
Ponzio signs 4 historical successes: the Pirelli Skyscraper, the Termini Station, the Olympic Stadium and the Dome of Omar in Jerusalem.
The new plant in Pineto is built, equipped with an innovative anodizing plant.
The company began selling oxidized and coated aluminum profiles, as well as accessories for door and window frames.
A new semi-automatic coating and oxidation plant is installed. Romana Ponzio is born.
Ponzio Polska is founded. Four new brands of systems are marketed: Newtec, Sliding, Windstop and Bugnall. The vertical system is installed.
The flagship store in Milan is inaugurated. Apexfine, the invisible luxury and b_OX, the skin system are born.

One of the examples of Ponzio’s innovation is undoubtedly to have been among the first in Italy to carry out anodizing, a guarantee of high specialization that the company implements daily in its production facilities.
The latter is confirmed by the installation of the new vertical coating system, which guarantees the highest technological and production standards, and by the new machinery used to produce the unique Brased, Velvet, Starox, Vertex and Uberall finishes.
Only Ponzio is able to offer such a wide range of finishes: hundreds of visual and tactile solutions to create the ideal aluminum window.
